Employee Assistance Program
“With the help of Benedict, we now have created improved work culture and higher standards at Butterfield & Vallis. If more companies would make this investment in their employees, we would collectively create a healthier work environment.” – Executive, Butterfield & Vallis
As a manager or employee of Benedict client firms, you and your immediate family members have the benefit of using the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
When you or an immediate family member has a personal issue that affects your relational, emotional well-being or work-related problems, Benedict’s EAP is in place to assist with these work-life balance situations. All levels of employees are covered under Benedict’s EAP.
Your confidential EAP benefit provides a short-term focused set of services that connects you with highly confidential counseling away from the workplace. You have direct access to Benedict’s professional counselors and coaches, often on a ‘quick response’ basis, so any crisis can be dealt with immediately.
To use this impactful benefit offered by your company, call Benedict Associates and set up an appointment. In the vast majority of cases, employees self-refer themselves to Benedict, and take advantage of the highly skilled counselors are able to address and manage the challenge in several sessions over a two or three-month period. You may discover that some circumstances will require longer term considerations and Benedict can facilitate those situations as well.
EAP Services are also in place for managers, supervisors, and HR representatives. At times, it’s useful to have an outside sounding board or external professional perspective on a work-related concern or performance issues. Having the right skills for positive discipline can make corrective action easier and often at an earlier point in time. Occasionally, situations might call for immediate intervention and a Benedict resource is only a call away. We will work with managers before, during, and after essential action is taken.
The EAP is free to you as an employee, having been prepaid by your employer.
Employees who have participated in Benedict’s EAP report higher productivity, reduced absenteeism, decreased turnover and a happier, more positive work place experience.
