As a physician or lawyer, you will discover that Benedict is always available to act as a “sounding board” should you need to confidentially discuss your client’s emotional or mental state.
Many Bermuda physicians refer their patients to Benedict when they believe the client would benefit from independent psychological assessment and treatment. In the same way, when more than counseling and psychotherapy are recommended prescribing medication, for example — Benedict liaises with the patient’s physician.
Benedict has extensive experience as a “coordinator” in matters that involve interdisciplinary treatment between a psychiatrist and physician. We ensure that, while the physician remains in ultimate control of the patient’s treatment, the impact of the therapy is monitored and that there is effective communication between all parties for the benefit of the client.
